The DeepVo.ai Assistant, our platform's meeting tool, will automatically participate in a meeting if a DeepVo.ai user was present or invited, and their account was configured to add DeepVo.ai to the session. This is how it provides services like high-accuracy speech-to-text transcription. If this occurs in all your meetings, it's highly probable that your own DeepVo.ai account has the Assistant's auto-join feature activated; if it only happens sporadically, it might be due to other individuals utilizing DeepVo.ai.
If you wish to stop DeepVo.ai from joining your future meetings, the initial step is to determine which account is inviting it—and there could be several. We suggest you review the sections on this page sequentially.
Inspect the meeting chat to identify who initiated DeepVo.ai's presence
Whenever the DeepVo.ai Assistant enters a meeting, it announces in the chat the name(s) of the person(s) who invited it. It's possible that multiple meeting attendees have DeepVo.ai enabled, which can sometimes cause confusion if you've deactivated DeepVo.ai from one account but it was still invited by another.
Each online meeting platform (like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet) has integrated chat functionality. Provided this feature is active in your meeting, you can examine the chat message from DeepVo.ai to ascertain who invited it. For guidance, see: How can I tell who invited or added DeepVo.ai to my meetings?
Adjust your DeepVo.ai account preferences
You might not be aware that your DeepVo.ai account settings direct it to auto-join your meetings. During account setup, users sometimes overlook crucial settings and are subsequently surprised when DeepVo.ai consistently joins meetings. Fortunately, this is simple to modify within your DeepVo.ai settings under Account Settings → Meeting Assistant → Auto-join meetings.
For more detailed information, consult: I prefer DeepVo.ai not to join all my meetings, what are my alternatives?
Please note that DeepVo.ai can and will attempt to join any meeting that has "Enable DeepVo.ai?" activated on your Calendar page, ready to provide services like AI-powered summaries and mind maps, irrespective of whether you actually attend the meeting.
Verify if you possess multiple DeepVo.ai accounts
If you've turned off "Enable DeepVo.ai?" for your account, but DeepVo.ai continues to join your meetings and lists your name in its chat notification, this strongly suggests you may have inadvertently created more than one DeepVo.ai account. Users occasionally establish multiple accounts when using Single Sign-On (SSO) (e.g., Google or Microsoft) for logging in, as the chosen SSO account might not be linked to the original DeepVo.ai account you created. For instance, you could have logins for DeepVo.ai under both a professional email and a personal email address. This can lead to confusion when attempting to adjust your settings or access valuable meeting outputs like transcripts and AI-generated mind maps.

Review Zoom application settings (for Zoom users)
If you've installed the DeepVo.ai Zoom application, you should ensure that the Auto-open in Meetings option is not active. You can locate this by clicking the three-dot menu in the upper right corner when the DeepVo.ai app is open:
(Imagine an illustrative image placeholder here if this were a live site)
You can also uninstall the Zoom app by selecting Remove under your Added Apps in the Zoom Marketplace.
Manually eject DeepVo.ai during an active meeting
Reflecting our firm commitment to privacy, any meeting attendee can deactivate DeepVo.ai using chat commands during the session. If you ever find yourself in a call with DeepVo.ai but prefer not to have it record or transcribe, follow the instructions posted in the meeting chat notification.
You can type "deepvo stop" to remove DeepVo.ai and halt transcription at that moment (still generating a report and AI summary for the preceding content), or you can type "opt out" to remove DeepVo.ai and erase all data captured from that meeting (resulting in no report or transcript).

Erase Your DeepVo.ai Account
While we'd be sorry to see you depart from DeepVo.ai, we've ensured the process to delete your account is straightforward. See: How do I erase my DeepVo.ai account?
Once you delete your account (or simply modify your auto-join preferences), DeepVo.ai can no longer join meetings via that account. If you find yourself in this situation and DeepVo.ai continues to join meetings, it must be originating from a different account. In such a case, please consult: Why does DeepVo.ai persist in joining my meetings after I instructed it to stop or if I've deleted my account?
